Seattle to San Diego: Shore Crew's Views IV Russian Relics

Laurie spotted Fort Ross and some Russian churches on her travels. You know they owned this part of the continent for until 1850 or so. In fact, it turned out that this area is next to the Rushin' River. Oops I mean Russian River.

This she thought was a church, but it turned out to be a bed and breakfast operated by a Russian couple.

Since we promised you Russian in the title to this blog, here is St. Seraphim of Sarov Orthodox Church which we visited on our way back down (Shore Crew in attendance) in Santa Rosa.
